Job Description – Java Architect (Cloud / AWS)
Location: Onsite(St.Louis, MO)
Experience: 15

* Act as the *Java Architect / Lead Architect*, providing overall technical leadership and architectural direction
* Possess *a minimum of 2 years of experience* in a *Lead Architect role* within a *cloud environment*
* Design, develop, and oversee *enterprise Java applications* using *Java/J2EE* technologies
* Hold an *AWS Solutions Architect – Associate* certification
* Architect and implement solutions in *AWS and/or containerized environments* (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
* Define application architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices
* Ensure solutions meet *scalability, security, performance, and availability* requirements
* Lead design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
* Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders
* Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews for development teams
* Support initiatives related to the *Unemployment Insurance (UI) domain* or similar government systems
* Work as a *full-time, on-site resource*, engaging directly with project teams and stakeholders
* Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts
