M9 Solutions is seeking an
IT Project Lead to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities - Oversees the entire lifecycle of complex IT programs and projects, with a specific focus on integrating and leveraging emerging technologies throughout the organization. This includes leading all development and implementation efforts, acting as the central point of contact when needed.
- Proactively engages with both internal and external stakeholders to meticulously manage expectations and ensure all project goals are in perfect alignment.
- Identifies potential risks early on and implements effective mitigation strategies, developing robust response plans to safeguard project success.
- Regularly briefs executive leadership on comprehensive project status, critical risks or blockers, and upcoming strategic initiatives.
- Has general Government budget and acquisition knowledge to support government leads in internal investment projects.
- Clearly defines project scope, develops detailed execution plans, sets achievable milestones, and efficiently manages all allocated resources.
- Ensures the delivery of high-quality end products, meticulously closing out projects after conducting thorough post-project evaluations to finalize all activities.
- Ensures quality assurance across the lifecycle of projects in accordance with the Client and federal IT governance frameworks.
- Delivers strategic direction for all projects under their purview, prioritizing their sustained effectiveness and overall viability.
- Applies project management best practices in line with client frameworks and industry standards.
- Creates and executes outreach campaigns and communicates effectively with key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications - TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to help build AI knowledge and to drive the technical implementation of AI & Emerging Technology solutions to ensure alignment with overall IT and data strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and post-project evaluation.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively brief executive leadership on project progress, risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Experience supporting government investment or acquisition activities and ensuring compliance with IT governance and quality assurance standards.

$60,000 - $180,000 USD
