Fullstack Engineer (React Native, Python or Go)
Location: San Francisco, CA (REMOTE okay for out of area candidates). If they live in the Bay Area they will be expected to visit the office 1-2 a week. No EST candidates.

4 Work Streams: Marketplace platform for customer orders (react Native), Integration team with 3rd party delivery services, Delivery Network team (deliveries, fulfillment, warehousing-front end and back end development and Internal Platform Team- analytics focused
Core skills- React Native, Python or Go and PostgreSQL, Java is a trade-off for Python or Go
Looking for customer focused engineers with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, should have start-up "scrappiness" but engineering rigor.
Current or past start-up company experience is a must.

About the Role:

Full Stack and Mobile Engineers to join us in building the future of automated logistics. We are expanding our engineering team across four critical work streams. We are looking for engineers who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and possess the communication skills to manage stakeholders while delivering world-class code.
Available Work Streams

Marketplace Platform: Scaling our customer-facing ordering platform using React Native.
Integration Team: Building seamless bridges between Zipline and 3rd party delivery ecosystems.
Delivery Network: Developing the frontend and backend infrastructure for fulfillment, warehousing, and global deliveries.
Internal Platform: Driving engineering excellence through data analytics and internal tooling.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy impactful full-stack solutions.
User-Centric Design: Deep dive into user pain points to simplify complex workflows, enabling the business to scale efficiently.
Product Development: Build everything from customer-facing tracking applications to complex internal inventory and shipping management systems.
Scalability: Architect and develop distributed systems designed for global use using a modern tech stack.
Rigorous Engineering: Maintain high code quality and architectural standards while moving with the speed of a high-growth startup.

Qualifications & Technical Requirements

Startup Pedigree: Current or previous experience in a high-growth startup environment is mandatory.
Core Tech Stack:
Frontend/Mobile: Expert-level React Native and React.
Backend: Proficient in Python or Go (Java experience is a placceptable trade-off).
Database: Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
