Job Title: Program Manager 4
Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level IT Program Manager to lead and stabilize a portfolio of active technology initiatives following a recent enterprise system migration. This role is highly execution-focused and responsible for bringing structure, accountability, and delivery discipline to multiple in-flight projects with minimal ramp-up time.
Reporting to senior IT leadership, the Program Manager will oversee projects supporting application migrations, data platform updates, and reporting remediation efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, hands-on leadership, and proven experience stabilizing complex IT programs in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational management of multiple active IT projects
- Align project execution with leadership priorities and strategic objectives
- Manage initiatives related to application migration, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation
- Decompose existing work into clear milestones, deliverables, and actionable plans
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans and schedules
- Coordinate efforts across business analysts, developers, subject matter experts, and external consultants
- Mentor business analysts on documentation standards and project discipline
- Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams and manage scheduling via Outlook
- Deliver concise, accurate status updates to executive stakeholders
- Identify risks, dependencies, and decision points early and proactively
- Drive timely issue resolution and escalation as needed
- Ensure project documentation is complete, consistent, and audit-ready
- Reinforce standardized project management practices across the portfolio
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience managing complex IT projects or programs
- Demonstrated success stabilizing and delivering in-flight projects
- Strong experience with application migrations and enterprise systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Outlook for collaboration and scheduling
