Summary

Role: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect

REMOTE

Design, build, and scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems
Lead IAM architecture, security policies, and best practices
Implement authentication, authorization, SSO, and access controls
Integrate IAM with applications and cloud services (AWS)
Implement IGA solutions (user lifecycle, access reviews, RBAC/ABAC)
Develop backend services and ETL pipelines
Mentor engineers and review code/designs

7+ years software development experience
5+ years designing scalable systems
Strong IAM knowledge: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP
Experience with IAM/IGA tools (Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, Ping, etc.)
Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, C#, or similar
Hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, and databases

Preferred

AWS certifications

Experience with large-scale or consumer IAM systems
