Summary
We are looking for a IT Support Specialist with strong expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. You will also support change management processes, monitoring, and automation for a stable and secure IT environment. This is a remote based opportunity. We can consider people in Chicago, IL., St. Louis, MO or Grand Rapids, MI. Travel will be up to 25%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including:
o Local laptops used only for AVD connectivity
o Golden image management and software deployment in Nerdio
o Distribution of new software to AVD hosts
- Understand and apply AVD concepts to daily operations
- Implement and support change management processes
- Administer Windows Server infrastructure:
o Active Directory (AD)
o Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
o Intune endpoint management
- Manage and support:
o Printerlogic for printer management
Requirements:
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
- Familiarity with Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint management a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Follow the established change management processes
