Role Summary
The client is seeking a Senior Workday Solution Architect with strong expertise in Workday Financials to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise financial solutions. This role involves architecting scalable ERP solutions, leading migrations from legacy systems, and ensuring compliance with financial and grant regulations across public sector and not-for-profit environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement Workday Financials solutions across multiple modules.
- Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Support and optimize modules including Core Financials, Grants, Projects, Revenue, Contracts-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Accounting Center.
- Lead ERP migrations from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to Workday.
- Design integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs, and Prism Analytics.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and federal grant regulations.
- Develop security models, data governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for financial visibility.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of ERP experience, including 7+ years with Workday Financials.
- Active Workday Financials certifications (valid through 2025 R1).
- Strong experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools.
- Proven experience in financial compliance and grant management.
- Experience supervising teams, planning resources, and documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-tenant Workday Financials in the public sector.
- Strong expertise in Accounting Center and cash-basis reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP migrations (PeopleSoft to Workday).
