Required Education:
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Required Skills:
• WebFOCUS using App Studio, Dashboards, MRE, Report Caster, InfoAssist (7 Years)
• User Interface Design/ HTML (7 Years)
• Experience with GUI, Dynamic parameter driven reporting (7 Years)
• JCL, JCL Procedures, ISPF (7 Years)
• Experience with GUI / User Interface driven by dynamic parameter driven reporting selection criteria (7 Years)
• Coding DB2, SQL and stored procedure is a plus (7 Years)
• JavaScript/ CSS (7 Years)
• Business and System Analysis (7 Years)
• Report Development Skills (7 Years)
TheFOCWebFOCUS consultant will be responsible for evaluating and documenting the logic/specification of existing reports, as well as designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting and implementing enhancements to new and current Criminal/Recovery Court reports. The incumbent is also responsible for analyzing and defining data mapping requirements working with the business analysts, data architects in establishing the proper data sources. The consultant must have abroad range of skills and technologies of mainframe FOCUS, JCL, WebFOCUS, HTML and technologies used in reporting. This is a professional level non-supervisory position which will require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the Team Lead in association within the existing structure, rules and guidelines of the client's Reporting. They will confer with other business and technical personnel.
Job Duties:
• Analyze user requirements for conversion of mainframe FOCUS reports to WebFocus including appropriate test scenarios
• Identify and document report defects
• Communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Demonstrate expertise in teaching, conveying technical and or functional courses and concepts
• Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high-quality services and products
• Must be able to compare actual project procedures to the specified standards and procedures
• Should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant mainframe processes
• Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups, including vendors
