Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise-wide architecture across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, integration, and security domains. This role ensures that business strategy is effectively translated into scalable, secure, and resilient technology architectures, while driving modernization and standardization across the enterprise.
The Enterprise Architect will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and application engineering teams to deliver a unified and future-ready architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture
- Define and govern enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and roadmaps
- Align business capabilities, operating models, and IT strategy into a cohesive architecture
- Establish target-state and transition architectures with clear execution paths
- Lead architectural governance forums and design reviews
- Drive technology standardization, reuse, and cost optimization
Application Architecture
- Define application architecture standards and patterns (monolithic, microservices, event-driven, SOA)
- Guide application modernization, legacy transformation, and rationalization efforts
- Establish reference architectures for web, mobile, API, and backend services
- Ensure application designs meet requirements for scalability, availability, performance, and maintainability
- Oversee integration strategies using APIs, messaging, and event streaming
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with DevOps and CI/CD practices
Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture
- Define infrastructure architecture standards across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Lead cloud architecture and migration strategies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Establish reference architectures for compute, storage, networking, and virtualization
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity designs
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices
- Partner with operations teams on observability, monitoring, and capacity planning
Security & Compliance (Embedded Across Domains)
- Ensure security-by-design across application and infrastructure architectures
- Align architectures with enterprise security standards, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Partner with security teams to incorporate identity, access management, encryption, and network security
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Application architecture (microservices, APIs, integration patterns)
- Infrastructure architecture (cloud, networking, compute, storage)
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF)
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
