Role and Responsibilities:
As the Collections Strategy Engagement Manager, you will lead the design, testing, and optimization of end-to-end collections and recoveries strategies across early and late buckets. You'll combine analytics, experimentation, and partnerships with operations and vendors to lift right-party contact (RPC), increase recovery rates, reduce roll-forward, and lower unit costs-while shaping a digital-first engagement model. This role is client-facing and requires comfort engaging senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams to design strategies.
Serve as the main client contact, engaging with senior stakeholders.
Design and optimize collections strategies across channels and segments.
Track key metrics (RPC, recovery rates, roll rates) and recommend improvements.
Oversee policy changes, test new approaches, and monitor market trends.
Partner with operations and vendors to execute strategy and drive results.
Lead analytical projects and coordinate with offshore teams for delivery.
Candidate Profile:
7+ years of experience in Collections strategy, along with in consulting, solution design and client management
SQL, Python
Policy optimization and experience with Banks / FinTechs
Unsecured lending expertise (Acquisitions/Underwriting)
Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem solving and people management skills
Excellent communication, presentation and story building skills in a consulting setup
Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
