Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable Android applications and APIs, with exposure to Maps and platform-level development.

Required Skills:

6+ years of Android development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and/or Java
Experience integrating Maps APIs and third-party services
Knowledge of JNI, NDK, concurrency, and thread management
Experience with API design and system architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

Nice to Have:

Experience with Jetpack Compose or Android UI
Unit testing experience (JUnit)
Exposure to GIS or spatial systems
Knowledge of Swift or Objective-C

Additional Information:

This is a W2-only contract role
Hybrid role based in Cupertino, CA
