Capital Markets Sales Director
About the Role
We are seeking a Capital Markets Sales Director to drive growth and deepen client relationships within a specialized financial services firm. This senior role focuses on leveraging existing industry connections to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and expand the firm’s footprint across hedge funds, private equity/credit, and banking clients.
Responsibilities

Develop new business using existing institutional client relationships.

Partner with internal teams to deliver People, Process, and Technology solutions.

Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract close.

Expand relationships with existing clients using a strategic “land and expand” approach.

Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
Requirements

12+ years in Capital Markets with client-facing experience.

Strong network of institutional client contacts.

Proven ability to drive B2B sales via relationships, not cold outreach.

Deep understanding of operational and tech needs for institutional clients.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have: experience with hybrid work setups or financial technology solutions.
Location
Hybrid within the New York metro area.
