Job Description
Thinking Minds Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SAP Security & GRC Consultant to support one of its clients in preparing for and aligning with S/4HANA readiness requirements. While many professionals have experience with SAP GRC in ECC environments, this role specifically demands strong expertise in the nuanced changes introduced in S/4HANA and the ability to lead assessments, identify gaps, and drive remediation efforts.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor in redesigning roles, addressing segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts, and ensuring compliance frameworks are in place to support a secure and scalable S/4HANA landscape. This includes evaluating current security posture, recommending strategic improvements, and supporting the client in transitioning from ECC to S/4HANA securely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct S/4HANA security readiness assessments, comparing existing ECC controls and identifying remediation areas
Lead the redesign of security roles in alignment with S/4HANA architecture and Fiori applications
Advise on GRC Access Control changes specific to S/4HANA, including risk ruleset updates and workflow configurations
Perform SoD analysis, risk remediation, and implement GRC controls tailored to the S/4HANA environment
Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to ensure alignment across compliance and business needs
Educate and mentor internal teams on S/4HANA-specific GRC changes and best practices
Assist in the implementation and optimization of SAP Fiori role-based access controls
