Position Overview
A world-renowned performing arts organization seeks an experienced Freelance Web Producer to support the development and maintenance of digital assets for its summer programming season. This role is essential to ensuring that web content is timely, accurate, and aligned with the organization s artistic vision and brand standards. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly communicative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build, publish, and maintain content across all digital assets supporting summer programming, including website pages, event listings, and promotional materials
Update program details, schedules, and artist information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Manage content using a Content Management System (CMS), with direct, hands-on responsibility for page creation, editing, and updates
Collaborate closely with marketing, artistic, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery of content
Respond quickly to programming changes, additions, or updates, ensuring all digital platforms reflect the most current information
Perform quality control across digital properties to ensure functionality, accessibility, and brand consistency
Support additional digital initiatives and campaign launches as needed throughout the summer season
Qualifications & Skills
Proven, direct experience working within a Content Management System (CMS)
Strong technical proficiency and comfort working across web platforms and digital tools
Exceptional communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction, while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Preferred Qualifications
Experience producing web content for arts, culture, entertainment, or live events
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for digital content
Passion for the performing arts and digital audience engagement
