5 Must Haves:
Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing, implementing, and maintaining z/OS database management systems including DB2, IMS/DB, data sharing, and related infrastructure software.Demonstrated ability to design, build, and support Parallel Sysplex application enablement.Experience providing technical leadership for managed service providers and offshore support teams.Proficiency in z/OS database management system performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization using tools like BMC AMI OPS, BMC Apptune, and IBM Intellimagic Vision.Proven leadership abilities, including experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.6 month contract but would like to convert in the future
Preference is near a location but they would have to relocate upon conversion if that happens. Locations include: Salisbury NC, Greenville SC, Chicago IL, Landover MD, Scarborough ME, Quincy MA, Carlisle PA
Job Overview
- Experience installing CICS or speeding it up. Must understand MF networking & IMS Transaction manager experience is a plus.
- Candidate needs to have experience managing Service Providers through technical leadership. Sometimes they will partner with MSP and sometimes they will need to mentor
- Z/OS System programmers at some point in their careers.
- Installed DB2 or Z/OS
- General knowledge of Mainframe & Must have Parallel Sysplex experience
