Role Summary

We’re looking for a seasoned WCS Developer to design build and modernize ECommerce capabilities by refactoring legacy WCS components into Spring Bootbased microservices integrating with search pricingpromo itemcatalog and ordercartcheckout domains and collaborating with frontend squads implementing React The ideal candidate brings deep JavaWCS expertise solid microservices architecture skills and handson experience integrating with Kafka RESTGraphQL and cloudnative toolchains

Key Responsibilities

 Design Development Backend

·       Implement Spring Boot microservices for itemcatalog pricepromo inventory search integration cartcheckout orders and BFF integration layers

·       Refactor WCS customizations Catalog Order Member Payment SolrSearch Commerce Composer into domainaligned services with clear API contracts RESTGraphQL

Integration Data Orchestration

·       Build orchestration and saga flows to aggregate data across WCSOMSPIMERP implement cachefirst strategies RedisNoSQL and streamingdata sync from JDAWCS

·       Implement Kafka topics for asynchronous events ensure schema governance and backward compatibility via BFFadapter layers 

Quality Security Observability

·       Own unitintegrationcontracte2e tests instrument services using ActuatorOpenTelemetry PrometheusGrafana design resilience patterns circuit breakers retries

·       Implement OAuth2JWTRBAC audit logging and secure API design aligned with enterprise standards

Frontend Collaboration Nicetohave

·       Partner with React teams on GraphQL schemas and API design support PLPDSL browse PDP flows migration from WCS to microservices

DevOps Delivery

·       Contribute to CICD pipelines DockerKubernetes performance tuning and phased cutovershypercare during releases
