Python & CES Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Python & CES Developer to join our technology team at CES. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications as part of enterprise projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role focuses on robust backend development, data manipulation, API integration, and scalable systems for modern business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python Applications: Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code for enterprise solutions.
• Backend Services & APIs: Build and maintain RESTful APIs or microservices to support web and enterprise applications.
• Data Handling: Work with data structures and algorithms; use libraries such as NumPy and Pandas for data processing and analytics.
• Integrations: Integrate with JSON-based services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and external APIs as required.
• Object-Oriented Design: Apply object-oriented principles and parallel programming techniques for complex workflows.
• Testing & Quality: Perform unit tests, participate in code reviews, and support test-driven development (TDD).
• Documentation & Support: Create technical documentation and provide support for deployed modules.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Python Proficiency: Excellent experience in Python development and core programming concepts.
• Data Structures & Algorithms: Solid understanding of common algorithms and data structures.
• Libraries & Frameworks: Experience with NumPy, Pandas, and optionally Flask, Django or similar web frameworks.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• API Development: Strong background building and consuming APIs (JSON/REST).
• TDD & Testing Tools: Familiarity with test-driven processes and testing frameworks.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Team Collaboration: Good communicator with ability to work in Agile or SCRUM environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Level: Typically 5+ years in Python development or related backend engineering roles.
• Web Technologies: Knowledge of web application frameworks, asynchronous programming, and parallel processing.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with deployment workflows, CI/CD tools, and cloud environments.
• Agile Methodologies: Prior work in SCRUM or iterative team setups.
