Job Description:
MySQL Database Architect/Consultant
- Lead MySQL architecture design, optimization, capacity planning, and best practices.
- Handle advanced performance tuning, indexing strategy, replication, HA/DR design.
- Guide modernization efforts, upgrade planning, and environment improvements.
- Design and implement scalable backup, recovery, and security frameworks.
- Conduct deep database diagnostics and resolve high-impact performance issues.
- Advise development teams on schema design and SQL optimization.
- Create automation and scripting for operational efficiency and deployment standardization.
- Define monitoring, alerting, operational guidelines, and SLA-based support.
- Prepare architectural documentation, implementation playbooks, and technical artifacts.
- Must be able to prioritize and lead engagements independently in a remote setup.
