Job Details

Job Title: Salesforce developer/ Business Analyst/ /Quality Analyst

Duration: 6 months

Location: New York, NY

Key responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis & Development:
    1. Requirements Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and pain points in the current process.
    • Define the data model.
    1. Application Development & Deployment (Salesforce Platform):
    • Backend development: Write Apex classes and triggers to automate business process logic.
    • UI Development:
      • Develop a web application to create a responsive and user-friendly interface.
      • Develop a mobile application using Salesforce Mobile Publisher with Lightning Web Components (LWCs) or Aura Components to create a seamless and performant native-like mobile experience for workers.
    • Implement security and access controls: Define user profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to ensure appropriate data access for different user roles.
    • Implement real-time notifications: Utilize Salesforce features like Push Topics, Platform Events, or the Streaming API to deliver real-time updates on request statuses.
    • Develop reporting and dashboards: Create custom reports and dashboards for supervisors to track historical submissions by worker or borough.
    • Ensure the quality and reliability of the developed code.
    • Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
    • Adhere to ACS's IT development standards.
    • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in various testing phases. Troubleshoot and fix any defects identified during testing.
    • Deployment: Prepare packages, deploy to production, and perform post-deployment validation.
    • Post-Deployment: Support, performance monitoring, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans/cases (functional, usability, performance, security for mobile/web). Perform various testing types (System integration testing, User acceptance testing, regression). Identify, document, and track defects. Collaborate on defect resolution and retesting. Participate in UAT and gather feedback. Ensure quality standards adherence.
  • Project Coordination/Management: Track progress and identify roadblocks. Facilitate project meetings and provide status updates. Identify and manage risks/issues. Manage scope and change requests. Communicate project status to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to agile methodology. Manage project resources. Facilitate project closure.

Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II (preferred).
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and/or Aura Components.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, SOQL, SOSL, and security best practices.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and creating user stories.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Unit testing and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Agile experience preferred.
