Position: SQL Database Administrator
Work Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Primary Skill: Cypress, Performance Tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and high availability.
- Monitor performance and implement tuning strategies.
- Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with development teams for query optimization and schema design.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server administration.
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Knowledge of high availability solutions (Always On, clustering).
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
- Understanding of RDBMS concepts and T-SQL scripting.
