SKILLS:
Basic understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
Understanding of gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional requirements/functional specifications.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Basic oral and written communication skills.
Experience working across diverse teams in a large organization
Experience working on multiple projects at one time
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform requirements elicitation, utilize techniques for collecting requirements for stakeholders (such as brainstorming, document analysis, interviews, workshops, reverse engineering, process mapping, and job shadowing)
Perform requirements analysis and documentation; develop and specify requirements in enough detail so they can be successfully implemented by a project team
Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development of assigned deliverables.
Maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary.
Develop trusted adviser relationship with stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience working with on-shore and off-shore sourcing partners
Utilities industry experience
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst
Minimum of 5 number of successful project/software implementations
ADDITIONAL
Provide an example of 8 to 10 business and functional requirements statements

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
