NVIDIA is searching for Deep Learning algorithms architect to develop artificial intelligence (AI), signal processing algorithms and applications for our NVIDIA GPU accelerated wireless platforms. Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we collect, communicate, inspect, and analyze different kinds of sensor data that impacts wide variety of applications and workflows. This challenging role will require someone who deeply understands and can architect signal processing algorithms with Large Foundation models to advance the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to the Wireless Communications market. Practical experience in the use and the building of adaptive signal processing algorithms, models and tools will be critical.

What you'll be doing:
  • You will be a key member of a growing software team that can architect, analyze, develop and prototype key deep learning algorithms and solutions.
  • Partner with our 6G team to apply AI optimizations in algorithms for Radio Access Networks (RAN) and Packet Core (6GC).
  • Work and collaborate with different software, research, and hardware teams across geographies for solving critical problems.
  • Understand and analyze the interplay of hardware and software architectures on future applications.
  • Support engagements with customers and their third-party software providers, collaboration with Product Managements, Marketing, and Developer Technology teams.

What we need to see:
  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of extensive experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Signal Processing.
  • A strong foundation and understanding of DSP fundamentals is required, including knowledge of adaptive signal processing and communications theory that includes frequency domain filtering and processing and noise reduction.
  • Algorithm development experience and knowledge of deep learning concepts and architectures like CNN's, Transformers and Large Language Models is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience developing 5G RAN algorithms, performance optimizations and benchmarking, acceleration architecture etc is a definite plus
  • Experience working with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-learn is critical.
  • Strong communication skills are required as this position involves working effectively across geographies.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5, and 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD for Level 6.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
