IT Project Manager Associate

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for an IT Project Manager Associate to manage large, often complex projects/teams (or multiple small to medium sized projects/teams). A background in managing software development projects, specifically work with software release management is ideal. Experience using MS Project is required, along with proven ability in project scheduling, tracking, managing dependencies, etc. Experience with other PM tools/platforms like Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Planview AgilePlace are a big plus.



This is a 12 month contract with potential for extensions and fully remote.. All candidates must live and work within the 48 US states during EST core business hours. Our client is an industry leader with a large, cutting edge IT shop and great work culture. Apply today for more information!


Essential Skills:




- Relevant experience directly leading IT projects

- Hands-on experience with MS Project, including creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and managing dependencies

- Proven experience managing projects using the SDLC framework, including predictive methodologies (e.g., waterfall) and iterative or incremental approaches

- Experience managing large complex projects


Plusses:




- Experience with release management

- Proficiency with other project management tools and platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps/TFS, AgilePlace)
