Job Requirement:
A Hyperion PBCS Senior Developer designs, builds, and maintains Oracle EPM solutions (PBCS, EPBCS, Essbase), focusing on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting by developing business rules, calc scripts, web forms, and data integrations (FDMEE/ODI), collaborating with finance teams, optimizing performance, and providing support, requiring strong technical skills in Essbase/Planning and financial process knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architecting and developing PBCS/EPBCS applications, including metadata, calculation scripts (BSO/ASO), business rules, web forms, and reports (HFR/Smart View).
- : Implementing data loads and integrations (FDMEE, ODI) with ERPs and source systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- : Gathering, analyzing, and translating finance/business requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Optimizing Essbase cubes (outline structure, dense/sparse) and calc scripts for efficient performance.
- Support & Maintenance: Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, managing security, and performing system maintenance/upgrades.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, test plans, and user guides.
- Leadership: Guiding junior developers, coordinating team efforts, and mentoring on complex tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Technical: Oracle PBCS, EPBCS, Essbase (BSO/ASO), FDMEE/ODI, Calculation Scripts, MaxL, SQL, Smart View, Financial Reporting (HFR).
- Functional: Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
- Experience: End-to-end project implementation, data modeling, performance tuning, security management.
