If percentage helps, maybe a 70% front end (UI) vs 30% back end.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in C#, Node.js, React, MS SQL, Azure Services, and Azure DevOps. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, security, and modernity of existing and new proprietary code. Working within an Agile sprint methodology, you will focus on stringent code reviews, new development, and technical debt cleanup.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and modern development principles.
- Participate in Agile sprints to validate deliverables and maintain alignment with business requirements.
- Identify and remediate technical debt, improving code quality and maintainability.
- Ensure all delivered code is secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, Node.js, React, and object-oriented programming.
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server and database optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, etc.).
- Experience in Azure DevOps and Git-based version control.
- Experience performing code reviews and enforcing secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working with distributed teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and application development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
