Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions using Google BigQuery, Python, and PySpark. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing enterprise-grade data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and reporting needs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Build and optimize data models and datasets in Google BigQuery
• Develop data processing and transformation jobs using Python and PySpark
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and data quality across data platforms
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Implement best practices for data engineering, data governance, and security
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues
• Support reporting, analytics, and downstream data consumption use cases
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior data engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation
• Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and pipeline orchestration
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working in cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
