JD SAP ABAP S4 HANA - Locals

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong functional exposure to Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions aligned with business processes in manufacturing and quality domains.
Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Interfaces.
Work closely with PP and QM functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Develop and support RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
Implement enhancements using Enhancement Framework, BAPI, RFC, IDocs, and ALE.
Debug and resolve issues related to PP and QM processes.
Support integration points between PP, QM, MM, and SD modules.
Perform unit testing and assist in UAT and production support.
Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP best practices.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP/4 development.
Good functional understanding of SAP PP (MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Production Orders).
Good functional understanding of SAP QM (Inspection Lots, Results Recording, Usage Decision, Notifications).
Experience with Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms).
Knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Interfaces.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Experience in support and enhancement projects.
Good to Have:
Exposure to S/4HANA ABAP (CDS Views, AMDP, OData).
Experience in manufacturing or quality-driven industries.
Functional understanding of MM integration.
Agile/Scrum experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION: SAP PP /QM Module
Should have Strong Expertise in configuration and customization of :-
Process order management, execution, Material staging with WM-PP interface, scheduling & confirmation etc. Shop floor printing, batch records printing, Label printing etc,
Should have expertise in designing of PI sheets & X steps., Should have Very good hands on experience and understanding in regard to the Business
Should be familiar with Intercompany Processes involving STO & Handling Unit Management.
Design & trouble shooting of MES Interface & other third party manufacturing Interfaces
Expertise in Configuration of QM in procurement, production, Sales & distribution, controlling
Excellent Skills in configuring and Customizing Quality Planning (Basic data for Quality Management, Inspection planning), Quality Assurance (Quality inspection, Quality certificates) & Quality Control (Quality notifications, QM information system) in QM module
Purchase Order Receipts, Production Order receipts, In Process Production Order receipts, Other Goods Receipts, Recurring Inspections, Analytical, Stability, and Micro testing, Lot to Lot transfer, Expiration Date Monitoring, Near Expiration Date Monitoring
Customize the stock positioning function to only move stock from the current lot status to the new lot status, Re-configure SAP QM to activate the use of the 'Restricted Stock' batch status toggle switch, Set lot as unavailable stock when lot is assigned to an Inspection Lot
Expertise in Configuration of QM in procurement, production, Sales & distribution, controlling
Prior experience in the interfacing of External LIMS with the SAP QM module
Approval and archival of Electronic Batch Records, Knowledge of User exits , IDocs monitoring & trouble shooting.
Must have experience in Testing & documentation including writing enhancement Functional specification
Analyze processes make recommendations for changes to support improvements and translate them into SAP solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
In depth understanding of Business processes, Business work flow and Process Mappings in SAP Environment with Interaction from Business Module Leads and Key Users
