System Z - Enterprise COBOL/100% ONSITE FROM DAY 1

Introduction:

This position is for a Mainframe DB2 Developer with extensive experience in System Z - Enterprise COBOL and System Z - JCL. The role will be based in Columbus, OH and requires 100% onsite presence from day 1 for a duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Mainframe DB2
• Utilize System Z - Enterprise COBOL for programming tasks
• Create and modify JCL scripts as needed
• Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and design solutions
• Perform testing and debugging of applications
• Document code and processes for future reference

Requirements:

Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Mainframe DB2 Developer
• Proficiency in Mainframe DB2 - Application Development
• Strong skills in System Z - Enterprise COBOL and System Z - JCL
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2

Preferred:

• Certifications in Mainframe technologies
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
