PeopleSoft Pensions Application Integrator & Support Analyst- W2 Only

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting critical initiatives for a complex, highly customized PeopleSoft Pension Administration system. The successful candidate will enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot pension processes to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant administration. This includes system integrations, legislative compliance, data management, and support for auxiliary applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Enhancement & Support:

   • Enhance, modify, and troubleshoot existing pension processes and calculations within PeopleSoft.

   • Implement new processes to improve accuracy, security, and compliance.

   • Manage integrations with other modules within the PeopleSoft HCM ecosystem.

2. Compliance & Customization:

   • Implement and support all system customizations required to comply with pension legislation, regulatory requirements, tier structures, and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).

3. Data Management & System Efficiency:

   • Maintain and ensure the integrity of legacy data converted into the centralized PeopleSoft pension system.

   • Work to upgrade system efficiency through centralized administration practices.

4. Pension Rules Configuration:

   • Configure all core pension rules, including eligibility, participation, consolidation (hours, earnings, contributions), vesting, benefit formulas, and optional forms of payment.

5. Application Support:

   • Support various bolt-on applications, including but not limited to pension loans administration systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business).

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of full-time, paid experience as a PeopleSoft Pensions Application Integrator and Support Analyst.

• Sector Experience: Must have recent, hands-on experience implementing integrated pension administration solutions in the public sector.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following PeopleSoft tools and languages:

  • PeopleTools

  • PeopleCode

  • Application Engine

  • Component Interface

  • SQR

  • XML/BI Publisher

  • COBOL

  • Service Eligibility, Benefit, and Vesting Service calculations.

  • Plan Eligibility and Participation rules.

  • Vesting and Benefit Eligibility.

  • Benefit Earning Limitations (415 Limit Earnings, Final Average Earnings, 401(a)(17) Limits / Kingston Cap Limits, Overtime Earning Caps per CBAs).

  • Early Retirement Factors.

  • Benefit Formulas, including death benefits.

• Functional Process Knowledge:

  • Retiree Payroll

  • Annual Actuarial Valuation Reporting

  • Annual Cost of Living Adjustments (COLAs)

  • Pension Loans Administration
