Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on Data Engineer / Data Modeler with strong Informatica development experience (not admin) to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and models on Oracle-based platforms, integrate with Snowflake and visualization tools, and operate within a Linux + Docker environment. The role is individual contributor, not managerial—ideal for a builder who collaborates well with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Top Must-Haves

·       Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud (Development): Expert-level ETL development

o   Note: Prefer Informatica specifically; other ETL tools are OK as secondary exposure.

·       Oracle ecosystem: Data modeling, ETL development, and PL/SQL proficiency

·       Linux environment experience; Docker for deployments

·       On-prem / internal cloud experience (knowledge of cloud platforms; not AWS/public cloud)

·       Strong communication and articulation; able to work independently with stakeholders and offshore/remote teams

·       Proven adaptability and a collaborative mindset; open to proposing improvements

·       Finance domain familiarity (subject-matter expertise not required)

Nice-to-Haves

·       Snowflake integration experience (pipelines, data loading, orchestration)

·       Tableau or other dashboarding/BI tools

·       Python or Java for data tooling/automation

·       Exposure to AI/agentic AI tools and an AI mindset (using tools to augment productivity)

·       Experience with visualization platform integrations

Responsibilities

·       Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Informatica for Oracle data sources/targets

·       Develop robust PL/SQL procedures, functions, and performance-tuned queries

·       Build and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) aligned to business needs

·       Integrate data flows with Snowflake and feed downstream visualization platforms

·       Package and deploy services using Docker in a Linux environment

·       Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews); follow POM model practices

·       Partner with stakeholders, onshore and offshore teams; communicate statrisks clearly

·       Proactively suggest improvements in data quality, performance, tooling, and delivery processes

·       Leverage (or be willing to learn) AI/agentic tools to boost quality and velocity

Tools & Environment

·       Core: Informatica (development), Oracle, PL/SQL, Linux, Docker

·       Data/BI: Snowflake (integration), Tableau or equivalent dashboards (preferred)

·       Languages: SQL, PL/SQL; plus Python/Java (nice-to-have)

·       Cloud: Internal/on-prem cloud (industry standard); no public cloud (e.g., non-AWS)
