Role: Lead Salesforce Develops Engineer

PruTech is seeking a Lead DevOps Resource to provide DevOps support across multiple client projects and other engagements. This floating resource will work across project teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments, and ensure DevOps best practices are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce DevOps experience and the flexibility to support multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide DevOps support across multiple PruTech client projects
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and other technology platforms
- Manage release processes and deployments across development, staging, and production environments
- Collaborate with project teams to establish DevOps standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide timely resolution
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
- Manage Salesforce deployments using Salesforce DX, change sets, or third-party tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum)
- Support version control processes and branching strategies across projects
- Configure and maintain sandbox environments and refresh schedules
- Monitor build and deployment processes, identifying and resolving failures
- Document DevOps procedures and create runbooks for project teams
- Coordinate with US-based project managers and technical leads on release planning
- Provide backup support and knowledge transfer to project-specific DevOps resources
- Implement security scanning and code quality checks in deployment pipelines
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on release schedules and urgency
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, release management, or related roles
- Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and practices (Salesforce DX, metadata API, Copado, Gearset)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong English communication skills for collaboration with US-based teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across concurrent projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer or Administrator certification
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Background in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC)
- Experience supporting government or public sector projects
- ITIL or similar service management experience
