Base Pay Range: $100,698 - $142,068

Position SummaryThe Test Engineer executes test development projects from inception to production leveraging existing test platforms and test methods, when possible, and develops new test methods and fixtures when required.
This position reports to the Director of Engineering
What You'll Be Doing This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both individually and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for production of electronic assemblies. This includes test systems, fixtures, and interface hardware.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings in collaboration with a test technician.
- Collaborates with the design and product engineering teams to formulate test strategies for analog, digital, and mixed-signal products on ATE.
- Develop and maintain automated test programs using languages such as TestStand, LabVIEW, or C#/C++.
- Define test requirements, test plans, and test procedures based on product specifications.
- Integrate instruments such as DMMs, power supplies, optical power meters, and communication interfaces (Ethernet, RS232).
- Integrate motion control devices such as electric linear actuators, pneumatic actuators, and vision systems.
- Perform design reviews and collaborate with design teams to improve testability and manufacturability.
- Stays current in best practices and investigates new methods, products, and test systems.
- Document test system designs, results, maintenance procedures, and calibration requirements.
- Occasional travel to remote production facilities as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Required- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field
- 3+ years of related engineering experience
Preferred- Experience developing software applications using environments such as TestStand, LabVIEW, C++, Visual Basic, or C#
- Ability to design/analyze electronic circuits
- Experience using GitLab
- Understanding of mechanical and optical principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well with multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
