Job Title: Desktop Tester
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday
DAY TO DAY
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and other requirements.
Lead test planning for specific products.
Ensure scope is clearly identified during test planning.
Lead test case reviews and work with engineering, product management, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
Identify automation opportunities for applicable test types.
Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests and record the test results.
Report issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for triage.
Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
Ensure traceability for reporting and audit purposes.
Use testing tools and follow processes to complete testing in a given test environment and assist with fulfillment of necessary steps required to complete test cycle.
Maintain test suites.
MUST HAVES
7+ years working as a QA tester
Intune experience
PowerShell experience for testing
QTest and Jira
Experience testing the following applications :
Compensation
Hourly Rate: 55$-60$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
