Job Title: Project Manager - Supply Chain
Type: Contract
Compensation: $37 - $39 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Remote
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM M-F
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overseeing Hypercare process for cross functional partners supporting new ERP implementation and operations for plants. Your role is to raise concerns, address any potential issues, priorities and enhancements as well as monitor progress. You will also ensure manufacturing standards and best practices are maintained while driving change to new ways of working driven by technological upgrades.
- Identify issues affecting Operations related to new Project implementation.
- Lead daily Hypercare call.
- Monitor Hypercare results.
- Interface with the business unit (BU) and Project Leaders to prioritize and manage tasks, address risks and troubleshoot issues.
- Anticipate changing resource requirements, business priorities, results and initiate appropriate responses in a way that optimizes overall project results.
- Make effective presentations of technical material to non-technical people, both written and verbal. Able to build and lead effective work teams for midsize to large programs.
- Interpersonal and technical skills earn respect and are recognized throughout the network. Continually builds networks in both the company and external communities to more broadly influence the organization.
- Proactive in dealing with confrontation and delivering win-win solutions for the business.
- Works independently to coordinate own and others' activities while networking with key contacts outside of the discipline.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in Supply Chain.
- Preferred 2 years' experience with ERP implementation (SAP S4, Ariba, MES, EWM).
- 3+ years of people leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or similar from an accredited institution, MS, MBA, or higher degree desired.
- Supply Chain/ Manufacturing experience with a strong foundation in technical problem-solving skillset.
- Advanced technical knowledge in area of expertise; recognized as a subject matter expert and maintains a strong external professional network.
- Proven track record leading complex projects implementing new technologies.
