Job Description
Are you looking for your next big challenge? A Series A startup developing AI-enhanced software in the commercial insurance industry is looking for their first DevOps hire. You'll build out and run their production systems, building out their platform from the ground up. You'll wear multiple hats, managing everything from infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, integrations, and much more, while also working collaboratively across the product and engineering team.
Ideal candidates must have worked in a role as the first DevOps hire and startup culture experience. Strong experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is required, as well as CI/CD tooling, Terraform, programming, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with AI is a big plus.
This role is fully remote.

- Previous experience as the first DevOps hire
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience building infrastructure from the ground up
- Experience building out CI/CD pipelines
- Startup experience
