Job Description
The Database Analyst (Intermediate) will support the MCH Helpline, a call center operation utilizing a comprehensive Information & Referral (I&R) database within the Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc. platform. This role is responsible for data analysis, data entry, data management, and database maintenance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of provider and resource information.
The Resource Database Specialist (RDS) works closely with Helpline staff and Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc. to maintain the integrated intake system and ensure all service, site, and agency data is accurate and up to date. The RDS will be trained on AIRS (Alliance of Information and Referral Systems) standards and I&R best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform database analysis, data entry, and ongoing maintenance for the MCH Helpline
Manage and update resource data across the Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc. database
Ensure provider, site, and agency information is accurate and current
Manage data importing and exporting across database systems
Utilize Excel and Tableau to support reporting and data analysis needs
Assist in producing caller data reports using filters such as referrals, call types, needs, and providers
Update provider capacity data for the OB Navigation Initiative
Resolve discrepancies in source documents prior to data entry
Maintain standard production and accuracy rates for assigned tasks
Apply moderately complex procedures related to database data screens
Provide task progress updates and reports to management
Collaborate with Helpline staff to ensure accurate reflection of services and resources
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working with database management systems
Minimum 2 years of experience with data import/export, including Excel and Tableau
Strong logical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to follow defined procedures and maintain high data accuracy
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
Ability to make informed decisions regarding data entry within assigned program areas
Education Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Information & Referral (I&R) standards
AIRS (Alliance of Information and Referral Systems) training or certification
Prior experience working with 211 databases or helpline/call center systems
