The Opportunity:

Your combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting the United States Air Force's air defense systems? We're looking for a system administrator who spe cia lizes in system and network virtualization with a background in network engineering to help us modernize and scale USAF infrastructure.

As a System Administrator on our project, you'll support the development of a modernized system of systems and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and best implementation strategies. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.

Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning met rics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set into areas like Hyperconverged Infrastructure ( HCI ) , artifi cia l intelligence, and data visualization. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new met hodologies. As a system administrator leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network so your clients achieve their goals. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing virtualization solutions, virtual machines, and virtual private cloud infrastructure
• 1+ years of experience designing, implementing, and configuring Zero T rus t Architecture ( ZTA ) capabilities
• 1+ years of experience with project management, including managing schedule, risk, and technical milestones
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8140 451 Systems Administrator Level 2 Certification, including Security+, Cloud+, or CCNA Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with VMWare NSX or VMWare ESXi
• Knowledge of HCI, Red Hat, Cisco, Windows, and Link 16
• Database Administration or Operating Systems Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
