Overview

We’re seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to define and drive enterprise security architecture and engineering strategy across cloud and on-prem environments. This highly visible role partners with technology and business leaders to embed secure-by-design practices, advance cybersecurity maturity, and lead high-performing security teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor security architects, engineers, and technical managers
Define and govern enterprise security architecture principles and standards
Drive cybersecurity strategy across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and third-party ecosystems
Own the technical roadmap for security engineering solutions
Partner with infrastructure, development, and business teams to integrate security into initiatives
Evaluate emerging security technologies and oversee vendor and regulatory relationships
Manage cybersecurity operational and capital budgets
Oversee specialized cybersecurity programs, including aviation-related security initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years in information security, including architecture or engineering leadership
7+ years leading cybersecurity or application security teams
Strong experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Deep knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, APIs, threat modeling, and risk management
Experience managing cybersecurity budgets and vendor relationships
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Familiarity with NIST standards preferred
Security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, SABSA, or similar) a plus
