Overview
We’re seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to define and drive enterprise security architecture and engineering strategy across cloud and on-prem environments. This highly visible role partners with technology and business leaders to embed secure-by-design practices, advance cybersecurity maturity, and lead high-performing security teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor security architects, engineers, and technical managers
- Define and govern enterprise security architecture principles and standards
- Drive cybersecurity strategy across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and third-party ecosystems
- Own the technical roadmap for security engineering solutions
- Partner with infrastructure, development, and business teams to integrate security into initiatives
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and oversee vendor and regulatory relationships
- Manage cybersecurity operational and capital budgets
- Oversee specialized cybersecurity programs, including aviation-related security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in information security, including architecture or engineering leadership
- 7+ years leading cybersecurity or application security teams
- Strong experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Deep knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, APIs, threat modeling, and risk management
- Experience managing cybersecurity budgets and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Familiarity with NIST standards preferred
- Security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, SABSA, or similar) a plus
