About the RoleIn this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex, large-scale initiatives related to
Data Management. You'll analyze multi-faceted challenges, evaluate multiple factors-including unprecedented scenarios-and contribute to solutions that align with compliance requirements and organizational policies. This role requires strategic collaboration with client personnel and a strong understanding of data governance principles.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze complex data management challenges and propose actionable solutions.
- Consult on initiatives with broad impact, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to drive data governance and quality initiatives.
- Support BSA/AML programs within Commercial Banking & Lending Data Governance & Metadata teams.
- Conduct requirements gathering, data validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management (or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables).
- Strong experience in:
- Complex Data Analysis
- Data Quality & Validation
- Technical Writing
- Written and Verbal Communication
- Data Governance/Data Management concepts
- Testing or QA
- Requirements Gathering
- Familiarity with Metadata and Lineage concepts.
Preferred Skills & ExperienceTechnical Skills:- Understanding of database structures and data movement.
- Experience with metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, ADMF).
- Data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx), data mapping, and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
- JIRA and SharePoint experience.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting (BSA/AML) and banking/finance industry.
- Moderate coding skills (SQL, Python).
- Project Management experience and familiarity with risk management frameworks.
Non-Technical Skills:- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and lead meetings effectively.
