What You'll Do
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in high-pressure situations? As a Technology Support Analyst I, you'll provide day-to-day support for PC hardware, software, and related systems, ensuring our teams can work efficiently and securely. You'll be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading devices while delivering prompt, professional, and courteous service across all levels of the firm. This role also involves participating in firm-wide maintenance windows, including occasional overtime during technology rollouts.
This is a 100% in-office position.
The schedule for this position is: Monday through Friday, 11 am - 7 pm ET, with occasional overtime during maintenance and rollouts.
Provide hardware and software support: Troubleshoot and resolve PC, Mac, iOS, and peripheral device issues, including video/audio conference systems.
Manage systems and applications: Support Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Suite, Citrix, VPN, and other core firm technologies.
Deliver exceptional customer service: Respond to user requests, incidents, and queries with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Collaborate with technical teams: Work with colleagues to identify and escalate issues as needed, providing guidance and troubleshooting support.
Document and maintain processes: Record solutions, adhere to ticketing systems (ServiceNow), and follow established procedures for quality control and rollouts.
Support firm-wide technology initiatives: Participate in scheduled maintenance, technology rollouts, and occasional overtime to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with networking and VOIP systems: Provide basic support for wireless networks, voice systems, and mobile device management (Intune).
What You'll Bring
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3-4 years in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred.
Technical skills: Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Suite, Citrix, VPN, mobile devices, and standard troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of MacOS, VOIP, audio-visual systems, and networking is a plus.
Certifications: A+ and/or Microsoft certifications are desirable.
Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Process orientation: Ability to follow procedures, manage multiple priorities, and remain flexible in dynamic situations.
Collaboration: Willingness to assist team members on complex issues and contribute to a positive, solution-focused environment.

Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in New York. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:
New York: $71,000 - $78,500
