Job Overview
This role is essential for delivering comprehensive software solutions that meet customer requirements and operate in cloud environments. It involves designing, implementing, and deploying full stack software systems including front end web frameworks, back end services, microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure. The role requires broad knowledge across the full software stack to create, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Success is measured by the ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software that supports business needs. The work impacts the organization by enabling efficient software delivery and supporting customer-facing applications through robust cloud-native solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop full stack web solutions by designing and implementing front end and back end components to meet customer requirements
- Build and maintain scheduled jobs and microservices to support system orchestration and automation
- Configure and manage cloud services using infrastructure as code to deploy and maintain software solutions
- Recommend and apply new cloud services and architectural patterns to improve system performance and scalability
- Create and implement data storage mechanisms using relational and non-relational databases to support application needs
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to team members to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. (Required)
- 5+ years full stack web development experience including front end and back end (Required)
- 5+ years designing database schemas, writing SQL (Required)
- 2+ years DevOps with infrastructure as code (Required)
- 3+ years using cloud services from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Required)
- 4+ years software engineering experience (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expected to be able to setup a completely new full stack environment from scratch including build steps and backend infrastructure (Required)
- Knowledge of html, css, webpack, JavaScript, at least one front end framework and one backend framework (Required)
- Understands web protocols, how full stack applications operate and data flows (Required)
- Understanding of database modeling and SQL. Capable of performance tuning and refactoring from one data store to another (Required)

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
