This position focuses on designing, developing, and customizing solutions that automate and streamline the insurance new business and underwriting processes. Key Responsibilities and Skills A Senior Software Engineer working with Resonant and other iPipeline solutions have the following responsibilities and technical skills: Responsibilities: Design and Development: Designing and developing new features, web applications, and microservices for core insurance platforms. Product Customization & Implementation: Customizing the Resonant product for specific client implementations and managing client engagements. Workflow Automation: Implementing technology that automates new business and underwriting functions, including workflow routing and decision-making processes. Collaboration: Collaborating with business stakeholders to align on requirements and conducting gap analyses. Code Review & Mentoring: Providing technical leadership, conducting code and design reviews, and contributing to mentoring and team building efforts. Performance Improvement: Improving performance in existing applications and modernizing product architecture using agile methodologies. Technical Skills & Tools: Programming Languages & Frameworks: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Angular, Python). Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Database & ETL: Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate persistence frameworks, SQL, and ETL tools. DevOps & Containerization: Experience with tools like Docker on OpenShift platforms. Domain Knowledge: Expertise in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) insurance products such as iPipeline Resonant. APIs: Experience with Mulesoft API gateways and integration with third-party vendor applications. |
