IT Warehouse Associate (PC technician)

Introduction: The IT Warehouse Associate (PC technician) will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, storage management, and assisting with various warehouse duties. This individual will also be required to have knowledge of computer hardware and perform basic computer component installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

Inbound & Outbound Logistics:

• Receive, process, and organize incoming stock, hardware components, and materials.
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, defects, or damage and report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders or bulk shipment orders for outbound delivery.
• Box and ship computer systems, parts, and assembled units.

Inventory & Storage Management:

• Restock shelves and maintain proper storage of components and hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs, cycle counts, and documentation.

Main Duties:

• Able to do basic computer component installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Good in documentation. Need to ensure all processes are documented.
• Be comfortable working around network and computer equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Assist with all warehouse duties including incoming, outgoing, and decommissioning of assets.
• Perform physical checks on all inventory shipments.
• Update the database with incoming, outgoing, repair, and decommissioned inventory.
• Use a handheld scanner to upload data into the database.
• Prepare shipping/delivery of packages for property tagging.
• Assist field techs with support when needed.
• Knowledge of using ticketing systems for ticket creations and dispatching.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in computer hardware, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Forklift experience is a plus. Packing, dispatching, and maintaining inventory are crucial aspects of the role.
