Job Title: Business System Analyst
Location: Jersey City NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: $70.00 - 73.68/hr
Role and responsibilities
Be part of Agile team and actively participate and contribute in all standard Agile ceremonies.
Prepare BRDs and act as subject matter expert through the entire systems development lifecycle.
Conduct analysis meetings to gather business requirements and document
Identify business requirements and map them to the application functionality and guide technical team for technical design specifications and solution for Data Conversions / Extracts, application extensions, Reports and Interfaces with other applications.
Work with Product owners to gather requirements and facilitate gap identification and design solution.
Work with various testing teams to plan application testing and support testing
Advise clients on options, risks, and any impact on other processes or systems
Candidate will be responsible for preparing status reports and presentations for Major enterprise initiatives in Journal Ledger Finance applications. Project will have complex enhancements in Financial General Ledger functions covering workflow and Validations.
Primary Skillset -Microsoft Projects, Excel, Power Point, JIRA.
Required Skills
10 to 12 years of Total experience in gathering, analyzing and preparing Business Requirements for Financial applications covering General Ledger and Accounts Payable business processes.
Must have strong presentation skills using Microsoft Power point. Should have the ability to prepare complex business process workflows and present to senior tech executives.
Experience in preparing status reports for senior management covering roadmaps, risk mitigation planning, current state-future state and similar project\\application status reports.
Experience in Oracle Financial R12, Oracle Financial Cloud web services integration is desired.
Identify functionality gaps, document POCs and solutions / workarounds
Experience in Agile environment and methodologies.
Ability to prepare complex business process workflows and present to senior tech executives.
