SAP Commodity Management Consultant (17323)

Baer is looking for SAP Commodity Management Consultant for a 6+ month project located in Dallas, TX.

Title: SAP Commodity Management Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Dallas, TX (Once per month)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead and support commodity contract management operations within SAP, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and execution of contracts.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Support and optimize commodity pricing models, formulas, and settlement processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical SAP designs.
• Integrate commodity pricing with Order-to-Cash (Sales & Distribution) and Procure-to-Pay (Materials Management / Purchasing) processes.
• Provide functional expertise for pricing, billing, and settlement issues related to commodities.
• Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop functional specifications and support technical development for enhancements and integrations.
• Assist with data migration, master data setup, and validation related to commodity contracts and pricing.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with a focus on commodity management and pricing.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE).
• Strong understanding of commodity contract management business processes.
• Solid knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with SAP SD and MM modules; exposure to FI integration is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in project-based and/or Agile delivery environments.
