Description:
Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Opportunity Discovery

Collaborate with product owners, business partners, and engineering teams to identify AI and GenAI opportunities aligned with investment management objectives (ETFs, index operations, data workflows).
Shape AI strategy within Investment Systems by prioritizing use cases, assessing business value, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Evaluate areas where AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, and process automation across investment and operational domains.

Rapid Experimentation & Prototyping

Lead rapid proof-of-concept development and prototyping to validate feasibility and business impact.
Translate successful experiments into actionable recommendations and partner with engineering teams for implementation.
Utilize GenAI frameworks, automation tools, and cloud-based AI services to build practical demonstrations.

SDLC & Operational Efficiency

Identify opportunities to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using AI, including AI-assisted coding, automated documentation, advanced testing, and workflow insights.
Support adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices while ensuring consistency with enterprise standards.

Consultation & Influence

Translate complex or ambiguous business problems into clear, data-driven solution options.
Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders with strategic framing.
Promote awareness of AI capabilities, risks, and limitations across Investment Systems.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of relevant experience, including 2-3+ years in AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, or automation solutions.
Experience in investment management, ETFs, index operations, trading workflows, or similar data-driven financial environments.
Proven ability to rapidly prototype and move from concept to validated recommendation.
Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS preferred), or automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of SDLC practices and modern engineering workflows.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience applying AI and automation to operational or investment processes.
Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) or workflow automation platforms.
Knowledge of investment datasets, ETF operations, and risk/compliance requireme
