RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer who will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features, improve performance, and help scale our platform to support millions of users. In this role, the Engineer will work across our modern frontend and backend stack to build high-quality, high-impact features. They will be responsible for everything from translating design specs into elegant UI components to implementing robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration throughout the ecosystem.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of backend software engineering experience Experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases)
* Experience with React, Next.js and Tailwind
* SQL skills - able to write, debug, and optimize queries
* Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and scalability principles
* Experience with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud or AWS), including CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure as code
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, ownership mentality
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
