Summary
DPP is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Location: Hybrid role in Columbia, SC.
Schedule: 3 days/week onsite, 2 days remote.
Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
Terms: W2 position
Position summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to lead the Medicaid Systems Operational Management.
- This role involves managing teams responsible for business-critical eligibility and enrollment systems, facilitating Medicaid application intake, case maintenance, member management, and eligibility determination.
- The position also includes directing the implementation and administration of project collaboration tools.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform systems administration and support activities for various systems, including communication and coordination with vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain an effective organizational team to accomplish mission-critical operations, including Production Support, Helpdesk, and Operational activities.
- Identify and mitigate operational issues, ensuring decisions and actions are well-documented.
- Handle internal and external escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and serve as a subject matter expert during audits and security tests.
- Work with contract monitors to set and monitor SLAs.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, ensuring data operations support agency needs.
- Promote workforce engagement and a safe, professional work environment.
- Monitor product, support, and maintenance licensing, ensuring necessary procurement and maintenance.
- Implement and monitor operational processes, including change, release, and incident management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline usage and reduce costs.
- Produce dashboards and reports to communicate system status to leadership.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3 years of experience managing system operations and/or administrative functions.
- 3 years of experience in project management.
- Ability to provide incident management on call and after hours.
- Ability to manage external vendors.
- Experience managing a ticketing system for application support.
Preferred skills:
- Prior experience managing operations of Medicaid Enterprise systems.
- Ability to manage work and provide guidance to employees.
- Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.
- AWS Cloud Certifications.
- Atlassian Administration.
Additional skills:
- Knowledge of the mission, programs, and objectives of relevant agencies.
- Ability to manage work and provide guidance to both technical and operational employees.
- Knowledge of the system development lifecycle.
Education/equivalency:
- Candidates should possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management, systems operations, or a related field.
