Job Title: Senior React.js Engineer 

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior React.js Engineer to join our Fraud technology team. This role focuses on building high-performance, scalable web applications that support fraud detection and prevention initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong frontend expertise in React.js along with solid backend experience in Java and Spring Boot, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications with a strong emphasis on frontend development using React.js

• Build and integrate backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and backend teams to define, design, and deliver new features

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the full stack

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across frontend and backend components

• Ensure secure coding practices aligned with fraud-prevention use cases

• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js

• 2+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Experience using Git and modern version-control workflows

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Prior experience working on fraud, risk, or security-focused systems is a plus
