SAP Project Systems (PS)/PMMO Consultant

Vortex is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Project Systems (PS)/PMMO Consultant to join our team in delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions for the aerospace and defense sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and optimizing SAP PS processes, with a strong focus on make-to-order (MTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments. This role involves leveraging deep expertise in project management and integration with SAP Production Planning (PP) to support complex, regulated projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and innovation in aerospace and defense operations. This role will be 3-6 months with the likelihood of an extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience as an SAP PS Consultant, with at least 5 years focused on MTO/ETO processes in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Proven track record of 2-3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (from blueprint to go-live) in aerospace/defense projects.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA PS capabilities, including WBS, network planning, cost and revenue management, and integration with SAP PP and other modules.
• Strong experience in integrating SAP PS with SAP PP for production-driven projects, particularly in handling complex assemblies and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense requirements, including government regulations, custom engineering, and long-lead-time materials.
